Last Summer a couple was taking an early evening walk
in our neighborhood. The peacock made his "mating call,"  which was
very loud, when they were walking by our house as my wife
was walking down the driveway to go to our neighbor's house.
The couple couldn't see into the back yard and
froze wonder what in the H the wild sound was and where it was
coming from. My wife proceeded on as if she didn't hear anything.
The people continued down the street, still looking
back... |
