AKA Jenkins Bridge
The "Exit Point" for people whitewater rafting that
put in at Albright.
Preparing for a jump off of the Bull Run aka Jenkins
Bridge into Cheat River
Note how small the people on the rocks below appear - I think
it's about a 50 feet jump
Some people jump, some dive off , others climb onto the upper
bridge suspension to obtain another 15+ feet. "Hey ya'll watch this"
unfortunately becomes someone's last words each Summer as they leap
off the bridge or swim in the river at this location.
View Downstream - Former Jumpers, Big Sandy river dumps into the
Cheat River on the right, 300-400 yards downstream from the
bridge.
