View of Woerth - Taken from the graveyard of the disused Protestant church in Nehwiller. There are two graveyards in Nehwiller but no Bishoffs of any spelling

 

Hans Bischoff came from a town called Nehwiller and his children were christened at a Luthern Church in a town called Langensoultzbach. The 2 towns are only a few miles apart and located about half an hour's drive north of Strasbourg, France in the Alsace region. 
 
Langensoultzbach has a English version web page.  According to the website, the administrative center of the "canton" is the town of Woerth. I think it must be like the county seat. Nehwiller doesn't have a webpage even though it looks more prosperous.
